Johanna Iivanainen and Johanna Kurkela's tour Altamullan Road will finally take place in the upcoming winter. The artists who have both made impressive careers are carrying out an extensive concert hall tour, performing their deeply emotional cinematic pop.
Iivanainen and Kurkela have performed together before. During a friendship that has lasted for more than 10 years the artists have, for example, toured Finland with their successful Iivanainen-Kurkela Gemini tour in 2018. The idea of a collaboration had time to mature since 2013, but only with the Altamullan Road project have the two written songs together. The result is music that perfectly brings the stories to life with the help of the artists' voices. Due to the circumstances, the the Altamullan Road tour had to wait a long time to come alive, but we will finally be able to dive into the dreamy musical world from January 2024.
