Alice Boman is a Swedish singer-songwriter known for her hauntingly delicate vocals and atmospheric soundscapes.
Born in Malmö, Boman began her musical journey quietly, recording songs at home that were initially never intended for release. Her intimate, lo-fi recordings gained attention when they were accidentally discovered by Adrian Recordings, leading to the release of her debut EP, “Skisser” (“Sketches”), in 2013. Her music is characterized by its raw emotional depth, minimalistic arrangements, and introspective lyrics, often exploring themes of love, loss, and longing.
With a mix of dream-pop, folk, and ambient influences, Boman creates a distinct sonic world that feels both fragile and ethereal. She followed up “Skisser” with another EP, “EP II” (2014), and released her critically acclaimed debut full-length album, “Dream On”, in 2020, cementing her as a rising voice in the indie music scene.
In 2022, Boman released her second full-length album, “The Space Between”, which featured a standout duet with Perfume Genius titled “Feels Like A Dream.” The album, which explores themes of relationships and the emotional spaces between people, continued to build on Boman’s signature style of intimate, ethereal music while expanding her sonic palette. Boman’s songs have been featured in popular TV shows like Transparent, Suits and 13 Reasons Why, further increasing her international exposure.
