American singer-songwriter Alex G, also known as Alex Giannascoli, came to the attention of the general public at the latest with his third self-published album "Trick", which was released in 2012 and collected more than 200 million streams. In the 2020s, the artist has also started playing on TikTok, when Alex G and Emily Yacina's 2011 joint song "Treehouse" became a viral sound. The song "Sarah" from the "Trick" album has become trending all over the world.
Giannascoli's ninth album, "God Save The Animals" cruises even more boldly in the flow of different genres, from electronic sounds to folk tones. It received rave reviews all over the world and earned e.g. Pitchfork's "Best New Music" rating.
