Drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, MC5 and Kyuss, 1000mods was formed in 2006 in the small town of Chiliomodi in Greece. The band released their acclaimed debut album "Super Van Vacation" in 2011 and their latest studio album, "Youth Of Dissent", produced by Matt Bayles, who previously worked with Soundgarden and Mastodon, was released in spring 2020. Already a huge hit in their home country, the band has gained more and more ground in other parts of the world over the years and has performed at such heavy music festivals as Hellfest and Desertfest.
